October is Hispanic Heritage Month. In
the elementary classroom it is crucial that we not only celebrate, but learn to
appreciate different cultures and the contributions they’ve made to our
country. During Hispanic Heritage month, we take the time to learn about 20
different Hispanic Americans and the influence that they’ve made in our
society. Below are some of the people we study during this month.
